The downstream part of our oil
and gas business began simply 
out of the need to market our own production. At first, it was a
small department but quickly grew in size, expertise and
accomplishments. Success exceeded supply.
This was the moment, when we added a unique trading section
to our marketing department.
Over the years, this has propelled GeoPetroleum more into international trading,
than we had imagined in the beginning.
We now have customers and business interests on five continents. Suppliers are
mostly national oil companies and large independents. We prefer partners like
this, since we look for predictability and secured deliveries from strategically
safe areas around the globe.
We've found tremendous savings with international partnerships, that allow us
to swap
customers abroad, cutting down on expenses like transportation costs, creating
a win-win situation for everyone.
GeoPetroleum buys in it's own name and sells in it's own name. We handle crude
oil and the entire variety of refined petroleum products.
GeoPetroleum has also developed multiple activities in affiliate and subsidiary
oil and gas related businesses, such as enhanced-, secondary-recovery and recycling
of lubricates.
