The upstream-downstream Oil Company GeoPetroleum GeoLNG was founded 1977 in Frankfurt/Germany.
1979 in Curaçao.
From the day of establishment, we engaged in exploration and development drilling - more than 600 successful oil and gas wells in the southern and eastern United States.
Working interests in about 1600 wells were created.
Production is sold to refineries and pipeline companies, own distributors serving downstream, directly to the end users – chemical companies, power plants, the cement- and automobile industry.
The company’s success ratio over the years - 89 % - compared to 67 % - as the overall US average for development and infill drilling - testified by university expertise.
GeoPetroleum GeoLNG is an upstream-downstream, independent oil & gas company with a very conservative philosophy: Low risk management, passionate engagement, reliable performance, trust and confidence, predictability and accuracy – tenacity and patience.
In 1981, GeoPetroleum’s american drilling partner Alamco Inc., Clarksburg, West Virginia, launched their IPO.
In 1982, Alamco Inc. listed on the American Stock Exchange New York under the ticker AXO.
